Our Public Health team raise awareness in Park Runs
Wednesday, 17 July 2019 09:13

Members of the West Sussex County Council Public Health Team joined colleagues from Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust (SPFT) at the Lancing Park Run on Saturday 12 July to raise awareness of suicide prevention.

Wearing highly-visible yellow ‘Suicide Awareness For Everyone’ t-shirts, the group took part in the run and handed out info cards at the finishing line, with Karen Hoskin from SPFT giving a short talk before the start.

This is part of a wider awareness campaign at Park Runs across the county.

This coming Saturday (20 July), Public Health will be at the Horsham Park Run.

Anyone from West Sussex County Council, especially Members, please come and say hello if you’re taking part.
